Frequently Asked Questions

Q.  What are venue requirements for the booths?

A.  Please ensure that your venue can provide the following:

  • 120V, 10 amp, 3 prong power outlet within 15 feet of set up area, along a wall 
  • The circuit must be free of all other connected cords, used exclusively by Glam Cam KC
  • At least 8 ft X 8 ft set up area
  • Ceiling height that will accommodate an 8 X 8-foot backdrop
  • A solid, flat floor surface 
  • An enclosed area free from insects, heat, cold, winds, and weather
  • A flat, even area for loading/unloading equipment.  No gravel, dirt, mud, hills, or stairs.   

Q.  Do you work outdoor events?

A.  We have requirements for outdoor events, and they are done at the discretion of glam cam kc staff.
Glam Cam KC prides itself on the fact that we have chosen to use the best in high-end equipment and software.  In order to keep our equipment safe and our staff happy and healthy, we ask the following:
  • An enclosed space of at least 15 x 15 feet to accommodate all of our equipment and set up 
  • No wind, insects, extreme temperatures
  • A Plan-B in writing in case of weather or temperature issues

Q.  How do we get the photo booth?

A.  We deliver!
Glam Cam KC staff does all the work!  We will deliver the booth to the venue and set everything up within an hour of the event start time.  Other arrangements for setting up can be made in advance.  After the event, our staff will disassemble the equipment and depart the venue within one hour of the contracted end time, unless other arrangements have been made in advance.  

Q. Do you stay with the booth?

A.  That all depends on your chosen package!
  • For All-digital Drop-Off packages, Glam Cam KC staff will bring the booth, set it up, and give the client or their representative a quick run-through on how to use the features.  We will then leave the booth and return to pick it up several minutes before the contracted end time.  At the contracted end time we will begin to tear down the equipment and remove it from the venue.  
  • For Print & Attendant add-on packages, Glam Cam KC will provide a knowledgeable and fun Photo Booth Experience Professional to attend the booth and manage the prints.

Q.  How do I book a photo booth experience?

A.  the Booking process is easy with glam cam kc!
  • If you haven't already, send us an email at: 
  • We will contact you to get more information to help you to determine the type of booth and package would work best for your budget and needs.
  • If you decide to book with us, we will send you a Quote.  This document lays out our services, features, and pricing.
  • A Contract will auto-send once your Quote has been accepted.  This document details what you can expect from us to ensure that you get quality and professional service.  It also details what we need from you.  Both you and I will sign the Contract.
  • After the Contract, you will receive your Invoice.  This Invoice makes payments easy and worry-free, as you can pay directly through it online.
  • Once your Deposit has been paid to hold your date and reserve your booth, you are officially booked!  Once the Deposit is received we will block the schedule for your event and begin work right away on making sure that you get the best experience from your photo booth.
  • If you need to make payment arrangements, just contact us!  Your total amount due isn't due until 2 weeks before your date.  
  • You will also receive Questionnaires asking for details about your event.  You can be involved as little or as much in the detailed customization process as you want.  If that's not your thing, you can opt to have our professional design team handle everything. 

Q.  What do the customizations include?

a.  This is totally up to you! 
We offer a variety of customizations for our Photo Booth Experiences because we want each event to reflect our client's personality and style.  Some clients aren't worried about what the booth looks like, they just want fun photos and that's perfectly ok with us!  We certainly deliver quality and fun!  However, other clients really like to have a streamlined experience that matches their theme, colors, or event type and style.  We love that, too!  

Some of our customization options are:
  • Custom or branded booth screen with matching buttons
  • Custom or branded photo overlay frame
  • Logo or information on photos
  • Vinyl wraps to customize or brand the booth itself
  • Large PVC custom or branded props, signs, or hashtags 
  • Custom or branded premium fabric backdrop (including Step-and-Repeat)
  • The sky is the limit!  If you can think it, we can do it!

Q.  How and when do we get our photos?

A.  we offer you options for for photo delivery
Our options for photo delivery are:
  • Text (most popular)
  • Email
  • QR Code
  • Print

Choose any, or all, delivery methods.  A personalized, secure online gallery containing every photo taken is always made available to you within 24 hours of the end of the event.  Choose free downloads for individual photos, or download the entire event gallery.  Your gallery also gives you the option to order prints or products featuring your photos.  
Text and email speed of delivery rely on the strength of our WiFi signal.  If for any reason the signal is not strong, all text and emailed photos will send out when the booth is returned to the office and powered on.
