Getting The Best Photos With A Photo Booth

So, you are at an event and there is a photo booth! You're all dressed up, looking especially great, so you should definitely get a photo! You should absolutely take advantage of the booth for a solo photo or two, and get them done early in the event, as once the groups start getting photos, everyone wants in! A popular pose is toasting the camera. That's a great place to start. Then, as you lose some of that camera shyness, grab a prop, make some silly faces, or practice some supermodel looks. Know your best side, or angle, and play it up!

Now that there are so many styles of photo booths and many of them are the open-air type, you can grab some pals for some photos. One of my favorites is a two or three-shot session with everyone in the photo being completely serious. The next photo is usually quickly taken while the group is in mid laughter from taking the serious one. These are always a crowd-pleaser.

If there is a line to the booth, this is a great time to come up with your plan with your friends and fellow photo subjects. Discuss prop and pose ideas and be ready for your session when your time comes up. Photo booths are meant to be fun, so keep it lighthearted and be your sensational selves. Let your personality shine! These photos will be around for years to come and every time you look at them they will bring to the surface memories.

There really is no wrong way to take a photo booth photo, but there are ways to make them better than the average photo. Being yourself is key to showing your personality and fun side. And enjoy yourself! That is the main thing. Photo booths are meant to be fun, so as long as you are having a good time, your photos will reflect that.

Now, go pose and say cheese!
