Things to do in Kansas city, Missouri

Kansas City, also known as KCMO, is a beautiful city that is rich in art and history. Kansas City is a great city to visit for its many attractions, including, but not limited to, some of these popular landmarks:

  • The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art: This world-renowned museum houses a collection of over 40,000 works of art, including paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts.

  • Union Station: This historic train station has been restored to its former glory and now houses a variety of shops, restaurants, and attractions, including the Science City museum and the Model Railroad Experience.

  • The Kansas City Zoo: This 100-acre zoo is home to over 1,000 animals from around the world.

  • The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum: This museum celebrates the history of African American baseball and its role in the development of the sport.

  • The Country Club Plaza: This shopping and dining district is modeled after a Spanish village and is home to a variety of high-end stores and restaurants.

  • The Crossroads Arts District: This vibrant neighborhood is home to a variety of art galleries, studios, and shops.

  • The Westside Urban Hike: This 2.5-mile hike takes you through some of Kansas City's most interesting neighborhoods, including the Crossroads Arts District and the Westside.

  • The North Kansas City area is a host to many restaurants, breweries, and bars. It's a great place to walk around.

  • Be sure to check out the River Market area. There are many things to do and see.

  • In addition to its many attractions, Kansas City is also known for its delicious barbecue, its lively jazz scene, and its beautiful fountains.
